BEFORE BOOKING.

Many films in this industry look the same, with basic music and dull pacing. A quick search online will prove this. While some may like that, we don't. You'll often see the same drone shots, decorations, rings, flowers, and more. It's repetitive and uninteresting. Our couples want something different—a film that highlights their special day and tells their unique love story. We encourage you to watch as many wedding films as you can from various creators to see what resonates with you and what doesn’t. After Booking.

Everything we do from the point of booking til the actual wedding day is designed to give us insight in to your love story thus far. This helps us immeasurably during the actual wedding day as well as the post day wedding editing. Trust us the more we can learn about you ahead of time the better of an experience we can give you.

We like to have at least two meetings with our couples if not more. We want to learn your vision for your big day and assist with any logistics or planning as needed.

We encourage our couples to follow us on instagram specifically where we post behind the scenes and snippets from recent weddings. This can give you even more insight and ideas for your own wedding day.

We want the REAL you.

You don’t need to be an actor on your wedding day, we just need you to be yourselves. The best moments are those that are unscripted anyway. We want all the random laughs, jokes, and the like. We want the magic of you and your person just being in the moment and taking it all in. We have a saying for our couples and it’s “Prompts over poses“.

Posing is great for models and actors, but it can be a little awkward for some who aren’t. Not to mention we’re shooting video, so we need movement lol. That’s where prompts come in. A prompt can be something as simple as hold your person and whisper something simple in their ear. That’s it. Super simple. The best thing is everyone does prompts differently and that’s the beauty of it. There’s no right or wrong way to do these things. It’s our way of making you both comfortable in front of the camera and it helps keep the authenticity of the moment.

How much time should you book?

To put it simple, the more time we have the better. Wedding days go by extremely fast and trying to book less time while maintaining a day full of events means some things will inevitably be missed. Additionally the more time we have the more footage we have to pull from when completing your highlight film.

We also offer pre/post wedding day coverage as well for those that are having exciting events before or after the wedding day. These are great to weave in to the full story of your wedding. You can see an example of this here.

FAQs

  • Music is crucial for a film as it guides the story and evokes emotions from the audience. We usually choose the music based on our experience, but if you want to pick your own tracks, we can send you a link to our music provider. Not all songs may be included, depending on the selected music and the atmosphere of the film.

  • This may shock you but…when you book us you get both of us! lol. A lot of other videographers send random shooters and while that’s great for them it’s not for us lol. We’ve spent all the time getting to know you and planning the day there’s no way we wouldn’t be there. If you are having a big wedding and you’d like us to bring on an additional shooter for more angles and coverage you can always add that on to your package. We’ve got plenty of professional and reliable filmmakers friends we can bring along.

  • We film a limited number of weddings each year (typically around 20 or so) to give personalized attention to each couple. Our slots fill up fast, so we advise booking as early as possible to secure your spot and lock in current rates.

  • Florida is home to us! It’s where we met, theme parks are here, and there is a huge art culture that’s starting to boom here! We love it.

    We do travel though! Destination weddings are our favorite thing ever!

  • Audio is extremely important for us it’s literally half of the experience! On a typical wedding day we like to mic the groom, bride, officiant, and we also tap in to the speakers from the DJ during the ceremony and reception.

  • Of course we do. We’ve worked with all kinds of photographers from very good to not so good lol. We work well with anyone though. If you are really concerned about team work you can always book photo + video with us! We have a great team of photographers that work seamlessly with us to give you photos that are just as dope as your film!
